Christopher Penczak on Biography: Witches

Christopher ([livejournal.com profile] torcboy) will be featured in an episode of Biography on witches and witchcraft, scheduled to air on Thursday, October 30th, at 9:00 PM Eastern on the Biography Channel. (Hopefully, they’ll also make it available via their website.)

Yay! I'm looking forward to seeing it. I'm hoping it'll be available on the website, too, because this household has a regular schedule of shows they prefer not to miss.

I couldn't agree more. It's sad to see how some television programs still distort what those who identify themselves as witches really are. I'm very excited to see that Christopher has taken part in the episode because he is a great leader for the community.

Do let us know if there's an online version of this show, either via their site or YouTube. I don't have cable.

Christopher is a credit to the Pagan community, and I am pleased he was interviewed for this program. Let's hope that what he said is presented in a respectful, honorable way.

Keep us posted on it's availability on the website. I really would like to see it, but we have basic cable which is 20 channels and does not include biography.

Its nice to see that in the 44 or so years that the American media has covered Witchcraft in this country, it has still not developed enough imagination or originality to break away from the predictable annual focus on Witches at All Hallow's. I hope they don't pull a sensationalistic hack job on Christopher and the others.
