Sleepless... in Seattle
Man, am I tired, but I'm still a bit too wound to go to sleep right now and still sort of trying to get my body clock to adjust to West Coast time (just in time for me to head home, but I don't want to be too off tomorrow, since I need to stay up fairly late then).
It's been a really long weekend of all-day meetings covering Green Ronin stuff from the various game lines to production, process, and much, much more. It's been a whirlwind of spending time with everyone from Team Ronin, but also draining. We covered a lot of ground in just a couple days of meetings, but I'm looking forward to getting back home and tackling some of the things we've talked about. There are projects to move along and schedules to meet, and I'm finally feeling good about catching up on things and having them on the tracks. We need to cover some additional process stuff via e-mail and such after we're all home, but I'm confident we've gotten a lot accomplished.
I miss Christopher, and I'm sure everyone is tired of hearing me mention him every third sentence, but it's always hard when we're apart. We got back to the room too late tonight for me to call him; I almost did before I realized the time difference and figured I would probably wake him up.
Not too much else to talk about apart from the fact that spending time with my co-workers nearly always ensures good food, good company, lots of laughs, and plenty of stories to share. They're great people and I wish I got to see them in person more often. Still, it will be good to be back home. Fall is here and I'm in a "settling in" mood for a little while, at least until Samhain and London.
On my way back tomorrow night and I'll be home Tuesday morning. Wish me well on the trip.

Oh, and I was checking out YOUR webpage. Why didn't you tell me you're a published author too? I obviously need to see if Barnes & Noble by my house has any of the Stephen Kenson line. Can I go all screaming fanboy on you, too? :)

You never asked, as I recall... :-)

And **Evil Grin** maybe torcboy won't be an available name for long. . . .
I could set up a LJ for him. Then pretend to be him. Yeah! And I could say horrible things about all of the other writers! Yeah! That'd be FUN!
Don't worry. I won't do it. But it is a giggle inspiring thought.
Quill.
