The weather this morning is best described as “crisp,” with the first hints in the air that say “Fall is coming.” It reminds me of numerous Septembers past, of first days of school and end-of-summer weekends, of the eventual turning of leaves and the slow, easy progression into the holidays and darkening time of the year. Autumn in New England is my favorite time of the year, and I’m looking forward to all that it brings. Hopefully, there will also be a cooling of the frantic activity of the summer months and some time to reflect and enjoy the Fall season.
