Hecate's Message
Sep. 27th, 2005 08:42 amInspired by our experience at Between the Worlds, Christopher performed a circle honoring Hecate at our men's group last night. As part of the ritual, we went on a journey to ask the goddess' blessing. This is the message she gave me, with explicit instructions to share it:
"You fear such little things, but you do not fear death most of all? You should.
Once you know the fear that is Hecate, all other fears scatter, like dead leaves before a cold wind.
Know that you will die and, knowing this, go forth and live.
Live this life as if it were the only moment you will ever receive — because it is."

Hail Hecate, lady of the threshold
