Inspired by our experience at Between the Worlds, Christopher performed a circle honoring Hecate at our men's group last night. As part of the ritual, we went on a journey to ask the goddess' blessing. This is the message she gave me, with explicit instructions to share it:

"You fear such little things, but you do not fear death most of all? You should.
Once you know the fear that is Hecate, all other fears scatter, like dead leaves before a cold wind.
Know that you will die and, knowing this, go forth and live.
Live this life as if it were the only moment you will ever receive — because it is."

Hail Hecate, lady of the threshold

Wasn't Hyakinthos the one who told us that Hecate was one of the goddesses for gay men?

I'm starting up a men's mysteries group with my ex and with Greg, and maybe a few others... we need some stuff to work with. Do you have any suggestions?

Love,
Rune

After getting to finally know Hyakinthos at this year's BtW, I wouldn't doubt it! He is definitely one of Her children, that's for sure.

Steve, that's quite an amazing message you got! Very good words to live by.
