Tonight may be the night...

When Christopher travels and is away for two or more days (as he is this weekend), I inevitably have at least one sleepless night, one night where there's no one to get me to come to bed, tear me away from the computer, or whatever I'm reading, or watching. Even when I do take it upon myself to retire at a reasonable hour, I don't sleep and eventually get up to find something to do until I eventually can fall asleep. It's a bit early to say, but I think tonight might be that night. I'm feeling restless and flitting from one distraction to another (including, of course, updating my livejournal).

Maybe I can channel some of this energy to constructive purpose, beyond just noodling around on LJ or watching DVDs of The West Wing (one of the best science-fiction series I've ever seen). But then I wouldn't bet property on it...

I saw Diana with Pearls of Wisdom here in Columbus this weekend. She said that she is going to try and hold a party for you boys when you're in town this summer (I'm assuming you're going to Marcon again).
