stevekenson | Happy Birthday, Mom!

Today's my Mom's birthday. In fact, I'm heading out shortly over to my parents' house (they live about 15 minutes away from us in the same town). Naturally, we're celebrating my Mom's birthday by her inviting us over: my Mom's not a big fan of going out and she hates to have any "fuss" made over her. I think she only indulges our desire to celebrate her birthday as an opportunity to get us to come over for dinner. Still, it'll be nice and it's a cookout, which we've got perfect weather for today.

Afterward, Christopher and I have to do some shopping and preparation for Between the Worlds. We leave at o-my-gods o'clock on Wednesday morning to make the drive out there with our friend David. I'm really looking forward to BtW this year, too. I just want to make sure I get everything I need to wrapped up for work so I can go with a clear conscience and not be distracted the whole time. But now, I gotta wrap up Mom's present and get going for dinner!
