As expected, Thanksgiving dinner with my folks was both low-key and delicious, and we brought home most of the leftovers. My Dad had to work tonight (joys of working at a hospital) but we still had a pleasant afternoon over a fantastic meal. Then it was home to nibble on popcorn through a re-viewing of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone on DVD (in expectation of seeing the new film this weekend) followed by a glass of wine, a turkey sandwich, and a West Wing marathon (still one of my favorite science-fiction programs: an academic liberal Democratic governor from New Hampshire elected President...). Now, still pleasantly full, and thankful for all the good things in life, it's time for an early night. Hope your Thanksgiving was as good, and your weekend as well.
