Got to watch the Doctor Who Easter Special (second of the five specials slated for the rest of the year).
It was a fun little episode, but mainly reminded me how much I’ll miss having a regular season this year, and having David Tennant as the Doctor after this year. Otherwise it was a fairly routine Who story (Doctor saves mixed group of people from alien menace while flirting with pretty young lady), enhanced by Tennant’s love of the part and some fan service in the form of UNIT personnel gushing over how keen the Doctor is. The Lady Christina character was fun, too. I wouldn’t mind seeing her again and could easily see her as a regular companion.
Now to settle in and wait for the next special... ::sigh::
