Let's hope so, since that's how things are going, work-wise. Still, slow and steady beats rushed and panicked for me, so I can't complain. I'd just like to be getting a bit more done. I may need to take a "mobile office" day away from home with the laptop because (strangely enough) it's less distracting working in a cafe for three hours than it is working at home all day sometimes. With the phone(s), e-mail, instant messages, message forums. and all the other forms of "instant connectivity" we've got these days (yes, including livejournal), there's something to be said for going somewhere to be quietly anonymous for a while.

Maybe tomorrow I'll hit the road, at least until it's time to meet my family for my Dad's birthday dinner. Ironically, the restaurant is right next to our condo complex, so what would be a short walk will actually become a "commute" since I'll have to drive back home first, but it's worth it if it gives me some additional productive work-time. I'm gonna sleep on it. Right now, there's the Daily Show and some snugglin' a'waitin'. G'nite.
