London Calling
Oct. 24th, 2005 03:32 pmMan, what a week I have ahead of me.
There are a number of work projects to get squared-away before the weekend. That's because this Sunday is our big Samhain celebration and there's also much prep-work to be done for that, including cooking two pots of soup: potato-wild rice (with almonds and cheddar) and the oft-requested curried pumpkin.
Monday is all packing and prep since early Tuesday (Nov. 1st) we're off to England for Witchfest, where Christopher is speaking and giving a workshop. Before that, we hope to visit Glastonbury Tor and Avebury (which we didn't get to see on our first trip last year). The trusty laptop (and UK power converter) will accompany me, of course, in hopes of getting work done and getting e-mail in quiet moments with available WiFi. Who knows? I might even find time to 'blog while we're there...
So by the time we get back it'll be the second week of November and I'll be wondering where the hell Autumn has gone, but for now I've got plenty of stuff to get done before we leave.
So, anyway, back to work for me. A joyous and blessed Samhain to all and sundry!
