Awesome episode with a vibe very much like the “Days of Future Past” storyline in X-Men. The Syler-switch genuinely caught me off-guard and finally made me consider Syler more than just a crazy killer, he graduated to true “super-villain” status. I was disappointed the Syler/Peter face-off was cut short (as in the previous episode) but anticipate a real throw-down before the end of the season. Oh, and future-Hiro totally kicks ass!

We still don’t have a definitive answer of the “can you change destiny/history?” question, but it’s starting to look like you can, or at least that future-Hiro has by saving Claire. Of course, there’s always the predestination paradox (that all changes to the timeline have “already happened” and are also predestined), and Isaac’s artwork suggests he has somehow foreseen the “other” future where changes in our present haven’t yet “happened” from the perspective of the “Five Years Gone” future.

This episode also did point-out a lack of vocabulary in the show. While a lot of people call the people with powers “Heroes,” there’s no name for them in the conext of the show. I’m surprised that years after they became publicly known there isn’t some common term or nickname (specials, supers, mutants, whatever).

Yeah, that episode did kick some ass. I was wondering if Sylar was really dead and then...TA DA!...there he was. Agree that future Hiro is a total badass.

I'm thinking the final episode is going to melt the Cool-O-Meter.

They did a nice job foreshadowing the Sylar reveal... when President Petrelli is discussing the genocide option with Mohinder, he makes the comment "I see how things work." (or something to that effect)... a nice tip of the hat to Sylar's power.

I really wanted to see the showdown between Sylar and Peter but we still have the rest of the season. Who knows what's coming down the line?

Last week's episode was missing something but I think this week completely made up for it.

Heroes is the shizzle.

The "I see how things work" made me suspect. When he mentioned the shape shifter's name, I knew it.

The thing that got me is the actor who plays the flying Pertrelli. When you found out he was Sylar, he gave off a neat Sylar vibe when he was in his "I'm evil and going to kick your ass" mode.

All in all, a nifty episode. Three more to go!

This episode rocked in general and had me riveted to my seat the entire time.

As far as a term for Heroes in the future? They did have one...

They called them "Terrorists".

Prediction: Peter dies, Sylar dies, Ando lives, Nathan loses election, Hiro disappears.

I suspect that Ando is the wildcard now. :)
