Home Again
Nov. 12th, 2007 09:32 pmBack home from Con on the Cob, which was a fun experience; thanks to grandmaster Andy Hopp for the invite and the hospitality!
The trip home was uneventful: just a short hop from Akron to Detroit (about 45 minutes) then an hour-and-a-half flight from Detroit to Manchester. The only real drawback was there wasn’t much time in and around flights to grab a meal, so I was pretty hungry by the time I got home. Of course my mom (wonder-worker that she is) brought the homemade turkey pot pies she made and froze for me with her when she picked me up at the airport! So I’m well-stocked for the rest of the week while Christopher is away on his tour.
Now it’s sorting through the 130 e-mails in my in-box, doing laundry, and diving back into work tomorrow. I’m looking forward to getting back into a regular at-home routine after a fair amount of travel these past few months.
