$1800 is only $550 more than a Macbook with the same amount of memory. Not too bad. The solid state thing, though, has me very happy to see it appearing in their laptops, after rumors of it coming. By the time I need to upgrade my laptop, they'll probably be standard in all Macbooks.
Why would you buy a computer that's so thin and teeny? I need the heft and solidity of a good-sized laptop. That thing is just begging to be broken or sat on, and knowing me it'd be the latter.
