Awoke this morning to what looks like at least an inch or two of snow on the ground, with the snowfall just now shifting over a “wintery mix” of snow, sleet, and rain.

I’d really like for the winter to stop now, please...

Local meteorologists are saying we're in for six more weeks (well, four and a half more weeks, now). To be followed by one of those 0to60-instant-hot summers. Of course, my local is not your local, so.... 8)

Ugh. And Concord's right in the center of the strike zone, so I get to clear my driveway. Again.

I'm worried about flooding, really. I still think we're going to get a long run of really warm days in a week or two, and the rivers are gonna explode.

No. When winter ends is when lawn mowing season begins.

Amen! I am ready for spring. Plus the boys in tight shirts and short.
One must have priorities, of course.

Its snowing here too. HARD. It's not unheard of for Oregon this time of year, actually but still ...Father Winter has his heels dug and isn't going anywhere very soon.

after having walked to the other building for lunch, I'm glad to say it stopped precipitating here... still it's cold, and not melting off today which means I'll 2-3 inches of slush to shovel when I get home this afternoon... and I am not looking forward to that. I hope that this tracks north of you, so you get a bit less.

It doesn't look like it; if it's less than 2-3 inches here, it's not significantly less. On the other hand, it does seem to have stopped, at least for now.

Julian says I'm not allowed to discuss the weather in California. So, I'll just say...I hope spring finds you soon!

Julian is a wise man who clearly wants to safeguard you from any harm... ;-)

Um...

Hate to be the weird witches' advocate here, but anyone think of doing a weather spell?

:)
