For some reason as yet unknown, livejournal has decided to send me e-mail notifications about comments and responses to posts from days and weeks ago. What I initially took as a sudden burst of activity on my journal is actually just a literal "blast from the past." Hopefully I can figure out what's doing it and get it to stop before it gets really annoying.

There was an update from LJ the other day stating that they had fixed a problem with people not getting their messages and they will be sending the missed messages out.

*nod* People (me included) hadn't been getting all of their message and post notifications; basically, this is the backlog.

Yeah. I think the word of the day is "cope".

Damn, I thought I was the only one getting messages from the past. Glad to hear I'm not crazy. Well...you know...in that respect:)

Oh good! It's their fault, and not my mail server's! It's a pain in the @$$, is what it is... *chuckles*

Well, blessed be!

Same thing with me too.

I know it's just a computer glitch...

...but perhaps you should re-read the messages you got email-d about.
They may sound different then they did when you first read them.
