Such as it was, anyway. I actually came away from GenCon with a few more things than I’d planned, including:

• My personal copy of Wild Cards for M&M (YAY!)
• A [livejournal.com profile] princeofcairo double-play of Tour de Lovecraft and Trail of Cthulhu.
• An ORE (One-Roll Engine) double-play of Wild Talents (the “Essential (Second) Edition”) and Greg Stolze’s A Dirty World noir game.
GURPS Mysteries, which I’d been meaning to pick up for a while.
• Benjamin Baugh’s Don’t Lose Your Mind supplement to Don’t Rest Your Head.
Godsend Agenda for M&M Superlink.
Unwired and The Runner’s Companion for Shadowrun (as I continue to get caught up on the fourth edition).
• The Harrow deck for Paizo’s Pathfinder (A Tarot based on the six D&D ability scores and nine alignments? Sold!).
Vs. Outlaws (the world’s smallest Wild West RPG) from [livejournal.com profile] philreed.

It’s a fair amount of reading to do (the stuff I didn’t read on planes and in airports, that is). I’m looking forward to it!

Harrow is entirely made of win. Not that other things on that list aren't, but I got it at origins and I'm _still_ excited about it.

I hadn't heard Unwired was out. Awesome!

*now to bug someone about a check...*

LOL - I was thinking the same thing about Runner's Companion (I thought it was only in pdf so far).

BTW, Steve, you've been getting my emails about M&M, right (I figure you've been con-crazy lately)?

The tarot deck from Paizo sounds really nifty; I'll have to keep an eye out for that one.

A [livejournal.com profile] princeofcairo double-play of Tour de Lovecraft and Trail of Cthulhu.

I scored the rare triple by also snagging Where The Deep Ones Are.

Thanks again for humoring Jared and I. We'll let you know when it gets posted somewhere.

Just because I'm curious. What is the fate of Talon on the streets of 2070? Is he still running? Is he dead, or is he teaching the next generation of street mages? I certainly think he'd be a better teacher than Lothan!

I truly don't know what has become of Talon & Co. post-2060s (after the events of The Burning Time). He'd be in his forties, getting up there for a 'runner, if he's still around.

That's why I was thinking teacher, though I don't see him as the type to be teaching at MIT&T, nor do I see him working for the Draco Foundation again... at least, not to his knowledge!

...I miss Talon stories. Though I do really like the Kellan stories, too!

I'm still trying to FIND Crossroads; it's the only Talon story I haven't read, to my knowledge.

I'm bummed I didn't get a chance to at least say hi (I did see you from across a room... once). Alas. GenCon is not for long conversations, though, and we should have one about the Fate thing you mentioned at Origins sometime. :)
