Tomorrow morning, I wing off to Long Island for I-CON, where I'll be a gaming guest, running a Mutants & Masterminds demo game and taking part in some seminars and such. I've heard good things about the show and I'm looking forward to it. If anyone is in the Long Island area and wants to drop by, feel free to say hello!

Now to finish packing and getting everything ready!

Have a great time this weekend! And thanks for sparing the time that you did last night to chat with me on the phone, I definitely appreciated and needed that. :-)

So, what'd you think of ICON? It has some...err...endearing...qualities. :)

I liked I-CON just fine for a small- to mid-size con. They treated us (the guests) well and things ran pretty smoothy, at least from my perspective.

I would have preferred that my M&M seminar hadn't been scheduled so close to the start of the con, when it seems most folks were standing in the registration lines rather than attending any events, but other than that, I can't complain. Even getting lost all the times that we did off the Long Island Expressway was more funny than anything else.

I also really liked that it was a small enough show that I got to hang out and talk to some folks; at the big cons we're all so busy rushing about there's very little time for that.
